Affonda lentamente oscillando sul suo asse come un lipless bait, ma sul recupero regolare la paletta costituisce un valore aggiunto per flashing e vibrazioni. Risulta letale su pesci sospesi nei primi 3 metri d'acqua, indolenti, che cercano foraggio imbrancato. La sua costruzione avanzata gli permette di raggiungere distanze di lancio impressionanti.
