Salmo Wave

Psalm Wave. New lipless minnow Salmo. with a very innovative design. Available in two sizes, this lipless launches a great distance from the shore thanks to its very aerodynamic profile, and sinks by oscillating on its own axis. It is an excellent choice for lake and river fishing (large trout, asp, royal perch) and for sea spinning fishing (bass, barracuda, bonito, mackerel). When jerked it expresses itself in fast changes of direction, irresistible for predatory fish!

If you hunt for predators that are feeding in shallows and require very long casts then Salmo WAVE is the lipless minnow for you! This original swimming jig was designed in consultation with anglers that fish for sea bass, sea trout and asp and it is definitely doing the job it was designed for. This is yet another example when our Salmo designers were able to create something simple but yet with so much potential to make even the seasoned pros stand in awe. The Salmo WAVE lure is a sinking lure available in two sizes: 7 and 9cm. Perfect proportions of balance and weight make it possible to throw this lure over huge distances and fish it effectively in places that are out of reach for other lures. Salmo WAVE works with all known spinning methods. It can be jerked or used like typical twitchbait or crankbait. Even the slightest twitch of the rod tip, causes this lure to move erratically and drives fish into frenzy! Very effective is a use of a "stop and go" technique, retrieve mixed with short pauses during which WAVE falls down very slowly and seductively flashes its sides. You can use it both in places that are 2-3m deep, or on shallow reefs with submerged vegetation. If you increase the speed of the retrieve and raise your rod tip then you can make WAVE gently slide on the surface. It is a proven and very effective technique both for sea bass and asp!
