The new AREA 51 from Laboratorio Italian Design Lure Fishing is a 4-strand micro braided line, with a special surface finish with three specific objectives:

1) ease of tying knots, through an external treatment aimed at preventing them from slipping during tightening, the Achilles heel of the "8 filaments". Excellent knot strength associated with fluorocarbon leaders, typical of this technique.

2) superior abrasion resistance, another weak point of the 8 threads.

3) greater durability over time, due to the greater ability to resist superficial micro-cracks.

Designed for trout area style fishing, with a CLEAR GHOST color that is not very invasive for the sight of the trout below the water level, but which helps the angler to better visually trace the surface where the lure is in action.
