Shimano Tranx A casting Reel

The new Shimano Tranx casting reel is designed as a "machine" for catching large fish. This is a low profile baitcasting reel for heavy use, the only one of its kind in the Shimano Europe range. A very powerful, resistant and reliable Shimano reel, suitable for use in both freshwater and sea. This type of reel is often used for fishing with large baits to catch larger fish. The Tranx is made for this purpose and for this reason it is not a featherweight at 330 grams. The Tranx can be used perfectly for freshwater pike fishing with heavy baits such as jerkbaits, large crankbaits and spinnerbaits weighing more than 100 grams and swimbaits. At sea, however, the Tranx is perfect for jigging or live fishing to capture the largest predators in our seas.
