Airrus Bora Travel Fuji FaZlite spinning rods

Recently, Airrus has started to design some prototypes, built starting from the basis of a new type of pre-preg with unusual characteristics. In fact, the tests carried out immediately gave surprising results in terms of the lightness of the carbon fiber blanks, their resistance to traction and compression. This new type of pre-preg bases its efficiency on a polyacrylonitrile resin which optimizes the characteristics of the carbon once it is compacted on the mold and brought to the optimal temperature. Airrus called it "Magma Polymer Technology".

The Airrus Bora is a 4-section travel spinning rod, designed with a radial multimodular oversized blank, designed to minimally deform in the blank segment from the handle to the first ring. This measure limits the dispersion of energy with the strike, and significantly reduces the oscillations of the tip after the launch, optimizing its distance and precision. The central part and the tip react differently, with a progression under stress, which decreases as the load on the rod increases, giving the tool great drag force on the prey, without sacrificing the loading phase of the cast and the subsequent push .

The blank reel seat uses a fully exposed reel seat with the X-Concept logo, to maximize sensitivity thanks to direct hand/carbon contact. The "splitted" design of the handle has been revised and improved, reducing weight and increasing leverage.

The AIRrus Bora is the first saltwater spinning rod to use the new Fuji FaZLite guides, with a blue colored stone with very high resistance and excellent heat containment capabilities. The ring bridge, coated with Frosted White treatment, is model K specific to prevent line tangles when using braid and casting against the wind, or with lures that reach high speeds during casting. (Fuji FazLite guides with anti tangle frame). This ring also features the new CC corrosion control treatment.

The Bora Travel series of travel spinning rods includes models suitable for the various applications of sea spinning, such as long jerk, metal jig, popper and wtd.
