Airrus Ultra Vertical Interceptor Spinning

The new AIRrus Ultra Vertical Interceptor is a high-performance spinning rod, utilizing the latest advancements in pre-preg carbon fiber, built with AIRrus MAGMA Polyacrylonitrile technology. Airrus has reduced the weight of the rods by 10% (on average) by using a lighter carbon fiber in the pre-preg, while still maintaining our MultiModulus technology. The Vertical Interceptor series was born specifically for the vertical fishing of predatory fish (perch, zander, pike) to ensure sensitivity, lure control, and a powerful hook-setting.

The action of the AIRrus Ultra Vertical Interceptor has been carefully tuned with some structural modifications to the rod's taper and the mix of H.M. carbon fibers used in each rod to achieve:

Faster actions with a soft tip designed for high sensitivity and total lure control.

Progressive curves in the middle section of each blank.

A granite-like "backbone" with almost no deformation for effective hook setting and very long casts.

The final result is a rod with improved fighting capability against the prey, featuring a blank that becomes stiffer as the load on it increases, and equipped with a CARBON SCRIM that allows for weight reduction and a considerable increase in the rod's sensitivity.

Technical Features:

MULTIMODULUS TECH.: MULTI-MODULUS blanks are made with Pre-pregs of different carbon types with varying tapers and thicknesses for each model to ensure the best fishing experience, with every part of the blank able to work harmoniously. The extremely low resin content, the internal "carbon-scrim" carbon screen, and the very thin walls of the blanks generate fishing rods with sensitivity unattainable by conventionally built rods.

Magma Polymer Technology: Resin applied to the pre-preg that allows for the generation of carbon fiber with very high resistance to torsion and compression while simultaneously achieving unusual lightness in the blank. The effectiveness of this new type of material is based on its polyacrylonitrile resin, which optimizes the characteristics of the carbon fiber.
