The Airrus Umbra Catfish rod has been specifically designed for use even with small lures, but is also capable, if necessary, of handling large lures such as big softbaits and spoons. The blank is an engineered combination of multi-modulus carbon fiber impregnated with 3rd generation Nanotube resin, featuring different tapers to ensure the best fishing experience with every single segment working in harmony with the others. The progressive tip action guarantees total lure control and presentation quality, while the back-bone has very low deformation under load. This allows the rod greater fighting power and longer, more precise casts, drastically reducing tip oscillation. The sensitivity of this fishing tool is surprising considering its power.

Technical Features:

MULTIMODULUS TECH.: MULTI-MODULE blanks are made with Pre-preg of different carbon types with varying tapers and thicknesses for each model to ensure the best fishing experience, with every part of the blank able to work harmoniously. The very low resin content, the internal carbon "carbon-scrim" shield, and the extremely thin walls of the blanks generate fishing rods with unparalleled sensitivity compared to conventionally built rods.

Magma Nanochain Resin System: This is an innovative technology that allows the formation of a continuous 3-D structure that precisely aligns polymers on a nanometric scale, suppressing the auto-organization effect where they combine by themselves when polymers are mixed. The effect of this new Airrus Nano-Tube resin is an overall increase in carbon fiber performance in terms of resistance to torsion, compression, and impact, resulting in a lighter yet more powerful rod.
