Airrus Wrestle Casting Rods. Airrus has developed the new Wrestle BIG BAIT SPECIAL series with the objective of creating a technically evolved and superior rod for handling heavy lure fishing techniques (pike, snakehead, musky, striped bass) using big baits (swimbaits, shad, bucktail, big streamers). Typically, for such stressful fishing styles, brands that mass-produce fishing rods reserve technical solutions aimed only at the tool's reliability, neglecting performance. High-modulus, high-torsional-strength carbon fiber blank types are generally mono-modulus, full of compacting resin, making them heavy, unbalanced, and offering little sensitivity to the angler.

The new AIRrus Wrestle, lighter, more sensitive, and better balanced than any previous version, utilizes its exclusive Multimodulus + MAGMA resin technology, which involves combining high (tip) and very high (backbone) moduli that translate into total perception both at the moment of the strike and regarding the lure's behavior, even at great distances and depths***. The Wrestles are highly specialized rods, featuring an inconsistent number of post-cast micro-oscillations—characteristics you can exploit to react quickly to a surface strike on a propeller or a frog bait, or to cast your 8'' swimbait far away with surgical precision. The progressive action of 2/3 of the blank, combined with a virtually undeformable backbone, limits loss during the fight of pike or black bass hooked on large and heavy baits. Furthermore, the Wrestle is the best-balanced rod series in this power category: AIRrus designed an unusual Laser-engraved lightweight alloy tube, which eliminates the limits of a traditional "SPLITTED" handle on such rods, a feature that allows you to fish tirelessly for hours.

Technical Features:

MULTIMODULUS TECH.: MULTI-MODULUS blanks are made with Pre-pregs of different carbon types with varying tapers and thicknesses for each model to ensure the best fishing experience, with every part of the blank working harmoniously. The extremely low resin content, the internal "carbon-scrim" carbon screen, and the very thin walls of the blanks generate fishing rods with sensitivity unattainable by conventionally built rods.

Magma Polymer Technology: Resin applied to the pre-preg that allows for the generation of carbon fiber with very high resistance to torsion and compression, while achieving unusual lightness in the blank. The effectiveness of this new type of material is based on its polyacrylonitrile resin, which optimizes the characteristics of the carbon fiber.
