Daiwa 24 Luvias LT spinning reel. The new Luvias takes the concept of super-light reels to a whole new level: in its latest version, it goes beyond the concept of lightness itself and combines featherweight construction with unrivalled mechanical performance. Always a benchmark for lightness, the new Luvias takes this characteristic even further, adopting the new technological solutions of the construction concept known as Airdrive Design.

Thanks to the redesign of the rotor (Airdrive Rotor), spool (Airdrive spool), shaft (Airdrive shaft) and bail (Airdrive bail), the new Luvias has benefited from a significant weight reduction: taking size 2500 as a reference, the weight has been reduced from 175 to 150 grams compared to the previous model.

The complete redesign of each component has not only resulted in greater lightness but also improved smoothness and fluidity of use, minimising the rotational inertia of the rotor: this makes it even more responsive to the first turn of the handle and during stop and go retrieves, thus improving the precision in imparting the right movements to the lure when spinning.

An important new feature on the new Luvias is the ATD-L drag, an evolution of the famous ATD progressive drags: it is now even smoother at the initial pull and then hardens even more progressively to successfully land the fish.

This puts less strain on the line, allowing you to fish more easily and safely with thin leaders.

In sizes 2000 and 2500 S, the clutch is now calibrated to a maximum drag of 5 kg (in the old size 2500 it was 10 kg) for further improved sensitivity and precision in finesse techniques.
