New Daiwa Caldia FC LT 25 Spinning reel. The new Daiwa 25 Caldia is characterised by its great lightness and excellent build quality. The body of the new Caldia is made of Zaion V monocoque, but the innovations of the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept have been introduced. The new Daiwa Caldia reel is now improved in the rotor, spool, bow and thread guide roller. The drag has also changed: the ATD-L is very gentle when it comes to dampening the fish's first pull and then hardens up and brakes the fish's escapees properly. The 5000 versions, on the other hand, unprecedented sizes for this series, house a clutch more dedicated to power: an ATD Tough with carbon discs, to fight big prey more effectively.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR The new Airdrive rotor made of ZAION V has a more symmetrical and balanced design, built to minimise weight and rotational inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL A solid, lightweight and durable bail. The shape, together with the Twist Buster 3 roller, makes it more effective in sliding the line, reducing line tangles when fishing.
