Gary Yamamoto Zako, a distinctive Yamamoto soft shad with an articulated tail for fantastic lateral movement. The Zako soft Swimbait joins Yamamoto's legendary line of soft plastic lures. Its segmented body and forked tail allow it to excel both used on its own and as a trailer-bait on swim-jigs and chatterbaits. Its split belly makes it an excellent choice for Texas-rigs sheltered from stranding with the bottom. The Zako also features a wide-bellied shad profile that perfectly mimics small prey. Available in a wide range of Yamamoto colours, the Zako Swimbait is produced in two 3" and 4" versions and casts like a bullet. Made from Yamamoto's legendary salt+plastic compound, which gives it a high specific weight and allows it to be 'chewed' by predatory fish for longer than conventional baits.
