The flared shape of the belly ensures a slight "wobbling" movement on the descent phases even when plunging. The Illex Magic Z Shad has a flat top which ensures optimal hook clearance, whilst allowing its small flat and thin tail to move at the slightest pull. Its tapered shape and flexible and elastic, yet soft rubber allow you to swim over very wide speed ranges. The gum is impregnated and flavored with Illex's 'Squid' fragrance called Nitro Booster.
