Unlike many other bass swimbaits that require specific equipment, the Lucky Craft Real California can be used with a normal medium heavy rod. The peculiarity of this bait, measuring 12.8 cm and weighing 28 grams, is the fact that it has two tails, a blade model, with a spinnerbait-type blade, and one in soft plastic, for more realistic swimming. With an overall length of 128 mm and weight of one ounce, REAL CALIFORNIA is a relatively small lure in its category. Unlike large wooden baits, which require dedicated tackle, REAL CALIFORNIA can be comfortably used with a medium-heavy bait rod. So, you can use REAL CALIFORNIA in a variety of applications, including as a search bait to scour a wide area while marinating your usual fishing style, or using it temporarily in the “Golden time” of morning and evening when big fish can be approached efficiently. REAL CALIFORNIA provides equally outstanding performance in large reservoirs and wild lakes. It comes with both a tail blade and Gel tail which are easily interchangeable. In a medium retrieve with lowered rod tip, REAL CALIFORNIA can be dropped to a depth of approximately 2' ¼”.

With 128 mm and 28 g weights, the Real Bait is a more petite swimbait. Contrary to traditional swimbaits in woods that often require the use of a particular material, the Real Bait can be used as easily as with a medium-heavy rod. It can be used in two main ways, such as dead-sticking on the surface to insist on the most marked posts, or in prospection with a quickest line recovery. The interchangeable queue (Plastic souple or metal palette) offers a variety of additional applications and allows you to have your adapter even more in the same conditions.
