Quantum Omen FDI. The Quantum Omen FDI spinning reel is a fixed spool reel with a finely adjustable front drag that will impress any angler: it expresses fantastic value for money. Made with high quality components, lightweight body and attractive design. Like all Quantum reels, the Omen FDI impresses with its linear and powerful drag (8kg!) which boasts a large drag knob travel for very precise adjustment in line with the breaking load of our line. The extremely light metal spool makes the Omen pleasant to use; its special design allows for long distance casting and also ensures precise line distribution; consequently, the reel can be loaded with monofilament, braided line and, if necessary, also with large diameter fluorocarbon. Equipped with 5 stainless steel ball bearings and a 5.7:1 gear ratio, this reel is perfect for lovers of spinning and all modern fishing techniques. Spooling is precise and linear thanks to the anti-twist line roller, very smooth thanks to a superior quality ball bearing. The handle is ergonomic and robust (produced in steel), like all quantum reels it has infinite anti-reverse. It does not fear comparisons in the field of cheap reels and indeed looks boldly at the higher class reels.
