Sakura ICONIC RS spinning rods. From the first launch, these new Iconic RS rods will reveal high performance that will amplify your sensations while fully experiencing your passion. The Iconic RS bait rod blanks are made using Japanese Mitsubishi HM36T and HM40T carbon. 90° cross-layers offer a superb natural 'Diamond Core' finish. The butt of the rods is covered in "4X-Star Wrap" carbon for a high-end aesthetic and a significant reserve of additional power. We have chosen to equip the Iconic RS rods with handles made of High Density EVA for durability against the elements. The metal rings and bezels are precisely chiseled and you will appreciate the fine carved inserts on the grip that symbolize the logo. Finally, and to make this series even more exclusive, each Iconic RS model has its own identity which you will find printed on a carbon ring at the heel and on the front of the handle with its characteristics. The Fuji components that have been carefully chosen to equip the Iconic RS rods bring the final quality touch. We are thinking of Fuji Slim SiC rings with KR "K-Frame Tangle Free" Titanium frame.
The length of 2.25 m coupled with a power of 7 to 30 g forms a combination of great versatility. The Iconic RS 742 M+ is an excellent long distance caster and offers great comfort of use in fishing action. The fast action of the high modulus carbon blank offers great casting precision and exceptional sensitivity. These models are versatile to deal with a very wide range of situations in both freshwater and saltwater. They are characterized by a tip action and a semi-progressive bend, but with an abnormal reserve of power. Valid to be used with both softbaits and hardbaits.
