Sakura Shukan Egi Squid Special 2.0, two-piece spinning rod series from Eging. The Sakura Shukan series offers this specific eging rod for fishing with squid jigs for cephalopods (squids and cuttlefish). The Sakura Shukan Egi Squid Special features a Mitsubishi Japan HM30T Carbon blank, Fuji FazLite rings, Fuji reel seat, high-density EVA ergonomic grip and Oxford fabric case.

Specially designed for trolling cephalopod fishing, this 2.44m Shükan spinning rod has the perfect action to cast, animate trolling and fight cuttlefish and squid by limiting stalls. As you know, the cephalopods are tricky to fight and easily drop the turluttes if you push them too hard and their tentacles can tear if the rod is too hard. Our Shükan 2.0 EGI rod has been designed to absorb the shocks of rear bumpers that they are capable of delivering with their very powerful propulsion system. The use of a fine braid (0.12 mm/0.14 mm) is recommended. Extremely sensitive, it has a progressive action allowing to fight cuttlefish and squid with mastery and efficiency!
