The Savage Gear Defiance SG4 Inshore series is the absolute new release for 2025 in saltwater spinning rods. Designed as extremely fast and light all-round rods, they are the ideal saltwater rod for sea fishing that redefines the concept of performance for coastal spinning.

The key feature of these rods is the new Japanese blank made by Toray from 30 Ton carbon, which is exceptionally light and responsive. The innovation is the 2 X Wrap structural reinforcement system, achieved through the X-shaped overlay of carbon fibers across two layers along the entire blank length. This technology, combined with minimal resin use, gives the offset spinning rod an immediate response (thanks to the Reset Accelerator Technology) and superior reliability, ensuring incredibly long casts and exceptional sensitivity for the inshore spinning rod.

Every Savage Gear Defiance SG4 Inshore spinning rod features high-end guides with the new Fuji K-Series anti tangle Slim “O” Ring Deep Pressed Frame, complete with Corrosion Control (C.C. & BC Finish) protection. The offset joint and the ergonomic Savage Gear reel seat are complemented by the split handle made of ultra-high density Duragrip 70° EVA. The aesthetics are highly refined, featuring an iridescent paint finish protected by the Duracoat Gloss coating.
