Seaspin Mommotti 180 Lip SF and Mommotti 180 Lip SS. Given the success of the original model and the continuous requests for use not only in sea water, a version of the Mommotti long jerk was created with slightly different characteristics, which integrate those of the original model, to be used not only in sw but also in fw. The main innovation consists in the presence of a blade no longer made of ABS, like the rest of the body of the lure, but of PCB ("printed circuit board" in English), in practice the same material as printed circuits in electronics, much more resistant , with the same thickness, of the aforementioned abs.
Available in the two versions SF (Slow Floating) and SS (Slow Sinking)
The advantages of using this material in a saltwater long jerk such as the Mommotti 180 Lip SF are numerous and range from the greater resistance of the blade which better resists impacts against submerged rocks, to the greater mobility of the lure during a slow retrieve, to a more accentuated general reactivity of the bait in jerks, in particular with a standing start. The weight has remained the same as the original models and they also have a through armor and three anchors resistant to marine corrosion of size #4 and 2x resistance for the SF model and 3x for the SS model. The design of the model, for protection and protection, is currently registered throughout the European community.
Action (action)
Slow recovery: light wobbling & rolling
Smooth recovery: wobbling & rolling
Fast recovery: wide wobbling
“Jerk” recovery: To stimulate the aggressiveness of the fish it is advisable to give strong accelerations with the rod in single or multiple sequences, so as to force the lure to make large skids. Intersperse the jerks with pauses and/or a variable recovery.
