The Shimano SLX BFS is a bait finesse casting reel. Designed for smaller baits, the SLX BFS casts excellently with adjustable Fine Tune Brake (FTB) technology and allows it to work efficiently with baits as small as 1 g. Shimano SLX BFS ensures long, accurate, backlash-free casts thanks to the externally adjustable SVS Infinity system. The lightweight and rigid Hagane body ensures strength and sensitivity, while the shallow MGL spool reduces inertia by improving bait departure. The impressive light casting performance of the Shimano SLX BFS is driven by the Finesse Tune Braking (FTB) system featuring magnets inside the handle-less side plate that apply adjustable braking force directly to the spool.
