The full carbon blank of the SHIMANO SLX two-piece spinning rods has a wonderful action which is enhanced by the Shimano Diaflash at the bottom of the butt section. This is useful in lighter models, especially when dealing with large, powerful fish that put a strain on the tackle. All models are equipped with Shimano Hardlite guides, light, robust and perfectly suitable for mono and braided lines. To further enhance performance and complement the modern look, an ergonomic Custom VSS style reel seat integrates seamlessly into the spinning rod blank. The Shimano Slx two-piece spinning models all have extra-fast action for precise casting of light and medium baits.
