The Spro Crank-N-Shad floating version is ideal for trolling or standard casting techniques. Depending on the length of the line between the rod tip and the plug, it dives to approximately 2-3m. The Crank-N-Shad 4” can be fished in different ways: normal reeling, as a jerkbait or with a pop-and-stop action. But for this lure, probably the best and most successful technique is to fish it at a moderate to medium speed between rocks and other hard obstacles. This gives the plug the erratic, lifelike action of a prey fish in trouble.

The 4” floating SPRO CRANK N SHAD version is ideal for trolling or for the cast-and-retrieve method of fishing. Depending on the line diameter and the length of line between the rod tip and the lure it will dive down to 6-9ft. You can fish the 4” in a variety of ways: a straight retrieve, a jerking-motion or even give it a pop-and-stop action. But probably one of the best and most successful ways of fishing it is to crank it across rocks and hard obstacles at slow to medium speed to create a flaring action.
