JMC Hare Mask used predominantly for the fly tying of emerging bodies and nymphs. The hair on the ears and forehead, which is shaggier, is excellent for chest construction, while that on the cheeks, which is softer, is suitable for body mounting. It is possible to mount it either in tufts or in the form of dubbing, even with a loop technique. It is a material particularly suitable for mixing with others, especially with synthetic fibres that can add lustre. It is the main material of the famous Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear nymph and its relatives.
